Micro-Fresh is headed for the peaks!
I headed up north today, well north west to be precise and had a very interesting meeting with a well known outdoor retail group. After pitching to a group of 8 I think Micro-Fresh might just be headed for the peaks!
6th October ... I met former West Indies Cricketer, Alvin Kalicharan
I had a great meeting today with the former West Indies cricketer, Alvin Kalicharan. We were discussing the benefits and endless possibilities of using Micro-Fresh at sporting venues and applying it to sporting goods such as equipment, kit bags and clothing....watch this space!
5th October ...Micro-Fresh® win prestigious MSDUK Award
We were delighted to receive news during the summer that Micro-Fresh had been shortlisted as a finalist for the MSDUK (Minority Supplier Development UK) 2010 Awards, under the Supplier of the Year: Innovation Award category.
On the 5th October, I went along to the prestigious award ceremony in London, held at the Marriot Hotel in Grosvenor Square.
Cisco Systems Inc. sponsored our category and their Director of Global Supplier Diversity, Denise Coley, presented the award; 'and the winner is....Micro-Fresh'. The audience clapped and began to search for the award winner. It was at this point I realised that we had won and I needed to get up. I was gob smacked, I couldn't believe it and then somehow I staggered to the stage quite punchdrunk and unable to speak, which is quite unlike me! I was however delighted and spent the next half an hour sitting at the table in a state of shock unable to eat or drink anything.

It was a great evening and fortunately my usual ability to speak has returned. You can read the official press release here.
